Hey everyone, and welcome to another episode of Quick Byte — where we share small but powerful tech tips!

Today’s byte is about a common issue when using WhatsApp share links — emojis not showing up in messages.

Let’s say you’re using this popular link format:
https://wa.me/
It’s clean and simple. But here's the catch: if your message includes emojis, they don’t appear when the link is opened.

Why does this happen?
Because wa.me links don’t properly handle special characters like emojis — they need proper encoding, and this format doesn’t support it.

✅ The Solution?
Use this format instead:
https://api.whatsapp.com/send/?phone=YOURNUMBER&text=YOURMESSAGE

This one supports full message encoding, including emojis, special characters, and even line breaks.

Just make sure to URL encode your message — you can use any free online tool to do that. It ensures everything, including emojis, appears exactly how you want it.

???? So the quick tip is:
If your WhatsApp message includes emojis, avoid using wa.me — use api.whatsapp.com instead.
That’s it for today’s Quick Byte.

Thanks for tuning in — and don’t forget to share this tip with someone who might need it! ????
